Step 1: Wash hair with shampoo and conditioner. My new FAVORITE conditioner is TRESemme's Thermal Recovery Replenishing Conditioner. Especially now that I am in desperate need of a haircut, it cuts through my tangles so quick and leaves my hair feeling silky. Your hair needs to be totally tangle-free before you get out of the shower.
Step 2: Squeeze water out of hair with your hands, let it air dry, don't touch it. At this point you can add some cocoa butter, gloss drops, or a little gel.
Step 3: Any awkward-looking curls can be fixed with a curling wand. I like Remington's large T-Studio Pearl Ceramic Styling Wand. If your hair is short, you can probably get the small version of this iron.
It's a natural look that requires very little heat and and very little stress.Works with wavy and curly hair types.
